About Us

Ignite Veneta Alliance (formerly Veneta Alliance Church) in Veneta, Oregon, is led by Pastor Joseph Skladany and operates as an out-of-the-box, community-focused congregation affiliated with the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

The church has long served the rural Veneta-Eugene area as Veneta Alliance Church before transitioning its local expression and online presence to Ignite Veneta Alliance (or Ignite Alliance.

Pastor Joseph Skladany took up leadership after serving in the Christian and Missionary Alliance since 2011. He outlined his approach to ministry in his book Fan Into Flames: Igniting A Heart for Christian Arsonism, encouraging congregations to look past static traditions and engage directly with the surrounding culture.

 The church actively engages the local Fern Ridge area through public events—such as hosting large community park gatherings with the Lane County Sheriff's Office and local safety authorities—and providing open weekly recovery and support meetings.
